Job Description
Join our team as an Employee Relations Business Partner – A strategic and rewarding role!
Are you passionate about human relations and eager to play a key role in a large-scale organization? We are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Business Partner to join our dynamic team and contribute to achieving our strategic objectives.
As a strategic leader, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the divisions in your region, which include UAP’s head office, 5 distribution centers, 3 regional offices, and over 100 stores across Quebec and the Maritimes, representing approximately 2,400 employees.
You will support and coach managers on all aspects of employee relations, helping them adopt effective and proactive approaches. Supported by a team of 3 Employee Relations Advisors, you will manage and resolve various employee relations situations while identifying and anticipating potential conflicts. You will ensure the launch and execution of annual HR programs.
In the area of labor relations, you will act as a strategic partner for managers, advising them on the interpretation and application of collective agreements and labor laws. You will be responsible for union relations in three unionized distribution centers and one store, while overseeing grievance management and resolving labor relations issues.

Requirements
Requirements for this position:
- Excellent communication skills in French and English, both orally and in writing. As part of your duties, you will have to collaborate fluently with internal clients across Canada.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources with a minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role.
- Availability to travel occasionally within Quebec and the Maritimes.
- Strong ability to influence, strategic thinking, expertise in problem-solving, change management, excellent judgment, negotiation and mediation skills, and management experience.
