At UAP, our differences are an asset
UAP values diversity and inclusion. We are committed to improving the experience of every member of our team, regardless of their origin, sexual orientation, gender, or limitations. Together, we’re building a community where everyone feels welcome and valued.
We’re proud to have set up a women’s business resource group (BRG) to address needs specific to our female colleagues. We plan to implement other tools to facilitate dialogue between members of different social identity groups.
At UAP, our team members care about the environment
Many of our initiatives are developed by working groups comprised of employees with different expertise who share a passion for protecting the environment. The changes we’ve implemented are having a positive influence in our market, making UAP a leading-edge company as well as a responsible corporate citizen.

Thus, it was with great enthusiasm that NAPA recently launched NexDrive in Canada, a certification program for the NAPA AUTOPRO and NAPA AutoCare network of shops for new-generation vehicles. Given that the electric and plug-in hybrid vehicle market has grown in recent years, now’s the time for NAPA to enter this promising segment and consolidate its position as an aftermarket leader.
Aware of our significant presence on the road, UAP has invested in the purchase of nearly 100 electric or hybrid vehicles to reduce our impact on the planet. This is just the first step in our plan to completely transform our vehicle fleet with the aim of reducing greenhouse gas and emissions as much as possible.
Joining the UAP team also means making a difference every day.
UAP gives back to the community
As a corporate citizen, we aspire to remain committed to making a difference in our community.
UAP encourages its team members to get involved locally by volunteering for charitable causes that are close to their hearts and have a positive impact in Canada. Therefore, UAP employees can take up to one day (or two half-days) off a year to volunteer.
At the organizational level, UAP is also committed to providing financial support for good causes, such as the following:
