Job Description
Reporting to the Director, Store Inventory, Assortment Planning and Retail Operations, the Retail Experience Manager is responsible for executing the retail vision across all stores throughout Canada.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide inspiring leadership by recruiting, developing, and coaching team members while fostering a culture of performance and collaboration.
- Ensure strategic and operational alignment among leaders and business partners to guarantee consistent execution of store standards nationwide.
- Drive financial and operational performance, including contributing to the annual budget, monitoring expenses, analyzing variances, and implementing dashboards and key performance indicators.
- Develop and execute the merchandising strategy, including assortment planning, planogram management, and go-to-market processes, while ensuring system and data integrity.
- Strengthen the in-store customer experience by implementing training and capability development programs (sales, leadership, operations) and monitoring their adoption and effectiveness.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by analyzing industry trends, consumer behavior, and overall performance to optimize methods, tools, and practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5 to 7 years of relevant project management experience in a corporate environment, with a strong retail component.
- Approximately 10 years of experience in store or retail environments.
- Excellent proficiency in both French and English, written and spoken. In this role, you will collaborate regularly with internal partners across Canada.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into compelling insights (storytelling).
- Experience in planograms, assortment planning, and space management.
