Job Description
In this position you will:
- Act as a resource person for managers and employees for all payroll questions via email and telephone
- Process, validate, prepare and send ROEs, etc. for terminations
- Processes files from lawyers or other sources as required
- Prepare weekly and monthly remittances (DAS – various union payments – meals – etc)
- Prepare year-end T2200s
- Answer questions and prepare financial information related to payroll, CSST, employment insurance, unions, etc.
- Carry out checks and verifications prior to payroll closing – payroll processing is done on a weekly basis (3 different payroll cycles).
Requirements
To join our team, you need:
- Experience in a similar position and in high-volume payroll production in a large company;
- Be a member in good standing of the Canadian Payroll Association (Level 1, an asset);
- Good knowledge of an integrated human resources system, ideally Workday, or equivalent (SAP, Ceridian, ADP, etc.).
- Excellent knowledge of Excel;
- Bilingualism in written and spoken French and English. As part of your duties, you will be working with internal customers across Canada.
